Aphria Inc. Earns a Spot in Global and Mail’s Inaugural Report

Aphria Inc. Recognized as Executive Gender Diversity by Globe and Mail

Aphria Inc. is ecstatic to announce that it has earned its place in the Globe and Mail’s inaugural Report on Business Women Lead list. Women Lead Here was launched in 2020 which uses sole research methodology to give ranking to Canadian companies that have achieved gender equality based on executive ranking.

Irwin D. Simon, the CEO of Aphria Inc said,

To be recognized by the Globe and Mail in its inaugural Women Lead Here Benchmark report is truly an honor. It goes without saying there is a lack of women in leadership positions at corporations large and small, which is why this award is so important. Today, and every day, we are proud to celebrate the infallible and unflappable women that makeup nearly 60 percent of Aphria Inc.’s C-Suite and 30 percent of our Board.

Aphria has been setting goals for itself since the year, 2019 to have a team of 30 percent females by the year 2021. It was since November  2019, that the Company’s C-Suite witnessed the joining of more females than males and further completed the Board of Directors Goal.

Currently, Aphria Inc is precisely keeping a check and responding enough to the ongoing Covid-19 outbreak. The company has been persistently providing the best services to its patients and customers. Keeping in mind the protection, health, and wellbeing of the employees and vendors, the company has all the facilities open with proper precautionary measures.
